Greetings New Hope Lutherans and Friends
Do you ever feel like world events effect your life in negative ways? For example, distant wars, economic decisions by power brokers, violence, and germs out of nowhere threaten our health….And more besiege us?
May I suggest a source of strength and hope? New Hope participation.
We’ll not tell anyone what to think. But we will by thoughts, words, and deeds…tell ALL of the Christian message that ALL are God’s beloved. We’ll not puff up with self-righteous arrogance and presume to be holier than thou cranks…but we’ll be authentic humans, struggling to be good, and honorable…by following ethics of Jesus. When we fail….we’ll get back on track, by God’s GRACE and offer the same GRACE to you.
We’ll be a safe sanctuary. Not just the building; but the community of faith.
We’ll offer hope. Reverend Martin Luther King quoted Reverend Theodore Parker; “The moral arc of the universe is long. And bends toward justice.” Here we talk, pray and ponder such notions to bolster our minds and souls with Faith, Hope, and Love.
So, WELCOME!
Here we go!
